ABOUT ME
When I was 9 years old I studied and trained in Kung Fu, lion dance and Bejing opera, then in Shi To Ryu karate at 11 and switched to Korean Tae Kwon Do for 2 years before switching back to Karate. In early 1972, I worked with the late legendary Bruce Lee in his film Way Of The Dragon and then Game of death, 30% completed. I choreographed my own action scenes for Bruce in the mirror setup of the film Enter The Dragon by Warner Bros. I had also worked with William Berger and Donald O'Brein in Italy and other films. From 1982 to 1986,I served as a special agent with the Federal Police in Australia. I was assigned as a secret bodyguard to one of China's powerful man during his overseas trip in the Pacific as a precaution against possible assassination attempt by enemies. His personal medical doctor was friendly with me. He and his wife who were from Shanghai shared with me many stories about the cultural revolution. It was from their stories that inspired me to write the Butterfly Lovers Violin Concert novel. After Australia, I continued on and served as a missionary to China, Hong Kong, Japan and Thailand. In Japan, my wife and I financed and built the Grace Garden Church in Koriyama city, Fukushima, in 1995. On 11 March 2011, a 9.1 earthquake off the coast of eastern Japan damaged the church and killed as many as 17,000 Japanese. At present, we are serving the Lord as missionary to the poor and stateless refugees in the jungle within the Thai Burma border in Thailand, rescuing Thai, Karen, Mon, Rohingyas children from wild elephants, killer hornets, blood thirsty mosquitoes, rebel Burmese soldiers and the most fearful of all: landmines. We had financed and built two orphange homes and housed those who were rescued and send the children to nearby school with pocket money for simple meals. It is from my unexpected journey in this destiny that I am fortunate to see, experience and know what life is actually all about.
Nothing is for granted.
